About The Job

As a Demand Planning Analyst you will develop demand planning and forecasting models for all Tesco online streams involved in the fulfilment process in order to highlight the required capacity to meet customer demand.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and developing models for order volumes and capacity constraints which will influence future online decisions.
  • Making recommendations for regions to further optimise the fulfilment network.
  • Sourcing and collating forecasts and budgets for fulfilment streams of Tesco online from the relevant teams.
  • Providing and presenting insight on demand and capacity to wider Customer Fulfilment Leadership teams to support future decisions.
  • Supporting other teams by providing the analysis for operating model changes/improvements across the five year horizon.
  • Developing overall capacity landscape development options and recommendations working with the wider capacity strategy teams
  • Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence.

 

Ideal Candidate

To succeed in this role you will need the following:

  • Advanced user of MS Excel
  • Mapping Softwares e.g. MapInfo, ESRI ArcMap
  • Analytical skills
  • SQL Skills

Desirable

  • University qualification in Maths, GIS or related field
  • Experience with large datasets and databases (Hadoop)
  • Forecasting & budgeting knowledge
