Job Description:

You are a passionate and enthusiastic GIS professional, looking to lead Historic England`s expert Corporate GIS team as they provide support to a diverse range of customers using our ESRI based enterprise GIS systems. From historic estate management to marketing campaigns, these systems support the work of the English Heritage Trust and Historic England so that our historic environment is accessible to all.

As a major advocate for GIS, you will enable us to fully realise the powerful capabilities GIS can offer. Through business partnering with both internal and external stakeholders and overseeing the teams` day to day service portfolio, you will strategically develop the GIS service, shaping it to be more focussed, efficient and cost effective.
