Summary
We’re looking for an experienced ArcGIS user to join our team. Specifically using ArcMap, you’ll obtain and maintain high quality data and records to form part of the key business system across the whole of The National Trust.

You’ll be based at our Westley Bottom Regional Hub near Bury St Edmunds and cover properties across the East of England.

Job Requirements:

What you'll be doing
Working alongside GIS Consultants, you’ll create high quality datasets that meet not only our local and regional needs, but also our key processes such as legal, financial and business planning across the whole of The National Trust. These datasets will help to support Consultants and Property Managers to make evidence-based decisions.
You’ll be hands-on in managing and manipulating Master datasets and also help to deliver training and guidance on the GIS and data records management systems to a range of staff to make sure they’re able to get the most out of the GIS tools available to them.
 
Who we're looking for
To be fantastic in this role, you’ll need to have;
•Strong knowledge and practical experience of GIS, especially in digitisation and data capture
•Great cartographic skills and have the ability to tell stories with maps
•Studied to degree level in a relevant subject area (e.g. Geography, GIS, Environment/Conservation Science) or equivalent knowledge
•Demonstrable consulting and analytical skills
•Knowledge and experience of using of using relational databases and structured query language
•Great attention to detail
