This is an ideal opportunity for a high calibre individual, ideally with an MSc in GIS, and several years consultancy and project management experience, to further develop in a GIS Consultant role, joining our expert team of analysts and consultants.

Job Requirements:


Main Purpose of Role

Specialising in Site, Territory and Route analysis in support of solving strategic and operational planning problems. Performance of spatial analysis using a range of data and methodologies and provision of consultancy, support and training services are core to the role. The GIS Consultant is a customer facing, technical expert, working within a team, throughout the full sales and delivery processes. Strong communication and project management skills are vital.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Degree in Geography (with GIS) or related technical discipline.
  • Ideally, MSc in Geographic Information related discipline.
Essential Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong technical skills including Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with GIS software
  • Familiarity with Spatial Modelling Methodologies
  • Familiarity with geo-demographic analysis
  • Project management skills and experience
Preferred Knowledge & Skills
  • Working within a commercial environment
  • Statistical analysis
  • Database skills (MS Access)
