Merton Council is an award winning local authority. We are implementing a series of major systems improvements and are now looking for a senior GIS specialist to help drive the geospatial strategic direction for the authority.

The London Borough of Merton is looking to leverage the opportunities for use of geospatial information management and are seeking a creative energetic specialist who can manage small to medium projects, and provide GIS strategic support and advice to the organisation.

You should have knowledge and experience of Managing GIS requirements for local government, including quality control, maintaining and developing map layering and strategic reporting as well as providing support and direction for effective use of GIS data across the organisation.
