Being a technical expert in key technologies (web, GIS, database) and other existing technologies where required.
Keeping live and delivering the Property Research Technology Strategy, including road map.
Improving Property Research’s ways of working and effectiveness through better tools.
Increasing access to our data and tools to other departments so they can make better decisions.
Ensuing our tools and systems are modern, using standard Tesco technologies where possible.
Documenting Property Research’s systems and tools
Working with users to identify requirements and changes to UK systems and capturing these in the backlog.
Collaborate with IT to ensure our systems are on the correct hardware and to launch changes to production.
Identifying system enhancements, new functionality and new technologies through following technology trends, attending external events and collaborating with IT .
Ensuring core systems and operational and corresponding data up-to-date.
Supporting and coaching my fellow team members, through sharing knowledge, experience and technical expertise.

Proven set of technical skills, including but not limited to, internet technologies, database architecture and GIS packages
Able to confidently communicate complex issues to a wide range of audiences, in both the written and verbal form
Previous development role, using similar technologies
Role working with users to understand needs and defining suitable technological solutions.
